Personal Trainer and International Fitness Presenter
My fitness journey began when I was a teenager. At the age of 19, I participated in my first men's fitness competition and went on to win several national titles. My determination and discipline pushed me along. My most notable accomplishment was finishing fourth in the men's fitness division at the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB). I discovered my true passion for fitness and the concept of hacking into your own body and mind. At the time, my main focus was on strength training and bodybuilding. Although I enjoyed my training, I was aware that something was missing.
I've begun to study functional movement and biomechanics. This has posed many questions, such as why we move the way we do and why we should move differently in all possible panes rather than getting trapped in closed, monotonous movement. I've changed my attitude to the whole preparation regimen to one that is more flexible and inclusive. Adding yoga lessons also improved stability and freedom of motion. This has tremendously aided me in achieving positive results faster. Since then, I've never stopped learning about biomechanics and figuring out how different training strategies can help each other.
